July 29--Day 22

American culture night! This is one I came up with, and we thought it'd be fun. we each made powerpoints about America. Terrance, of course, did food; Miranda, pop culture; Alison, vacation spots, and I did a survey of American history. They really enjoyed it. And, surprisingly, they were really interested in mine. Boring old history made exciting. They were hanging on the edge of their seats when I told them about 9/11. I guess history is more interesting told by the ones who lived it. And! we surprised them with no bake cookies. It was expensive, but fun to do. The recipe called for four cups of sugar; we only put one in. It was still too sweet for all of them. Ha.
